Repel Mosquitoes and even Bees

College kids,

I hate mosquitoes and I always end up with a thousand bites from them. How can I get rid of them?

Luke,

I have the perfect trick for you. It is known as an urban legend, but the college kids have done a field study and proven it to work. What you do is grab a dryer sheet, and I'm sure your mom gave plenty to you for school, and put it in your back pocket. Also, if your just going to be chilling in one spot, like the pool patio or something, just hang it on the shed or post. You will soon realize there are no mosquitoes around you.

A few other things that dryer sheets can be used for that you might find useful are:

Eliminates static electricity from your television and computer screen. Fabric softener sheets are designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your television and computer screen with a used sheet to keep dust from resettling.

A sewing needle run through a sheet prior to sewing, can prevent the thread from tangling.

Placing a sheet in your shoes or sneakers overnight, will help to deodorize them and as a result they will smell much better in the AM.

Collecting pet hairs. Rubbing the area with a sheet will magnetically attract all the loose hairs.
