School Blocking Sites

College kids,

My school has begun to block sites on campus, and it is quite annoying. Is there anyway to get around this?

Of course there is a way to get around this little problem. These so called "blockers" are just a small bump in the road. You can either do one of two things.

There are websites online called proxies, and what they do is hide your identity and usually allow you to browse the web from their site. Just google "free proxy", and you will be in the money.

Also, you can do this, but it is a little more complicated than the first.

-go to Start>Run
-type CMD
-When a black box pops up(command prompt) type in ping yourwebsite.com
-hit enter
-It will search some things and you will then see a string of numbers called an IP address, and from there copy that into the URL bar in your browser and you should be good to go.
