15 Things You Can Only Learn In College

...but you do not learn these in class.

  1. Just about anything can be recycled.
  2. Dominoes is key.
  3. Change is always to be saved.
  4. Money sucks, because you never have any.
  5. Getting up on time is virtually impossible (especially if you got drunk the night before).
  6. Coffee is one of the best friends you will ever make.
  7. Living in the city is expensive.
  8. Sleeping can only come over very long or very short periods of time.
  9. You will never come close to knowing all the great music in the world, but you can try.
  10. Whether you like it or not, Facebook is king.
  11. Free Wi-Fi cafe's can save your life.
  12. If you have the motivation (i.e. about to fail the course), you can always finish a paper, no matter how little time is left.
  13. As soon as you enter college your high school grades, social status, and reputation, now mean nothing.
  14. Once you enter college the ability to play beirut/beer pong are instantly engraved into your DNA.
  15. Textbooks can easily cost more than tuition.
