College Kid Tip Of The Day: Know Your Professor

Are you going to have a tough semester and want to stay ahead of the pack?

My advice: get to know your professors. During crunch time there is no one else who can help you out more. The best way to do this is by introducing yourself to your professor. From there you should keep your relationship active and do not be afraid to ask for extra help.

This will help you in the long run because if you are in trouble and maybe need an extension or some kind of break, they are the only ones who can help you out. On the other hand, if you are the kid in the back who never says anything, your professor is going to think "who is this kid" and "why should I help them". Plus, most professors are really cool.
