Colbert for President? For Real?

Many of you may have heard about Steven Colbert running for president. Now what may seem like a funny promotional stunt, could actually turn out to be slightly more serious. Colbert has been taking formal steps to get himself on the ballot in South Carolina (his home state). He also stated that he will be running as both a Democrat and a Republican.

How far will he go? Only time can tell, but in a recent Rasmussen Report telephone survey, between Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, and Steven Colbert, 13% said yes for Colbert. Steven has an especially strong following amongst college students. The Facebook group “1,000,000 Strong for Stephen T. Colbert” hit the million mark in six days, making it the fastest growing Facebook group ever.

Not bad for a comedian.
