If you like Jurassic 5 you are going to love Cut Chemist. Is it because Cut Chemist used to be the DJ for J5? Maybe, but it is probably because he has great beats that will make any Alt. Hip-Hop head thirsty for more. Coming from the boiling pot of southern California, Chemist is a true master of his craft and is a favorite of mine. His style of combining Hip-Hop beats along with Funk breaks makes him unique and fun to listen to. Chemist has released seven albums including Brainfreeze, which is a live album done with DJ Shadow (also one of my favorites).
