Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Requiem For A Dream have very little to do with each other. One’s a feel-good 80’s teen movie about coming to grips with growing up. The other is a harrowing portrait of the tragic effects of drug addiction. Yet somehow, when combined, the results are strangely awesome.
